The year 2018 has finally come to an end and what better way to end the year than to wrap up all of the events we’ve participated in and toast to our accomplishments! Not only were we involved in just one but ten events throughout the time we have been open. Let’s rewind all the way back to March 2nd, 2018. Some of you may know this, some of you may not know this but March 2nd, 2018 is a very important day to us. Why you ask? Because that is the day Bishops hair salon in San Jose Downtown officially became open to the public. Following our grand opening party, we participated in many community events such as; free haircuts and hairstyles to the young ladies of Queen-Hype for their annual fashion show, sponsored Silicon Valley Pride parade, offering free haircuts to the less fortunates by Bishops barbers at the Conscious San Jose Yoga Festival, throwing a public Halloween party where locals came together, grabbed a bite and a cocktail as well and just hanged out with the team! We also fund raised for American Cancer Society for Breast Cancer Awareness, provided a free Wine, Style and Mini Facial at Bishops downtown San Jose (see previous blog post for more details), sponsored a Christmas tree at Christmas in The Park, collecting donated can food items and clothing etc. to donate to Sacred Heart community and last but not least, hair painted Sharks fans during playoff games at O’Flahertys Irish Pub.
